How to Measure Blackout Blinds
How to Measure Blackout Blinds

Please be advised that blinds measuring more than 1900 mm in width or 2800 mm in drop might be manufactured with a joint in the fabric.

For Top Cassette Blackout Blinds please note that cloth size will be 35 mm smaller than the total width of the blind.

Please decide the suitable option for your window before ordering.

1. INSIDE RECESS - we will deduct 3mm from the measurements inserted. The blind inclusive of the brackets and controls will fit inside your recess.

2. OUTSIDE RECESS - the blind's width will be made exact size from one bracket to the other. It will be like in the left hand picture cloth size plus the controls and brackets.

3. CLOTH SIZE - we will automatically add the size of the brackets ( 35mm ) to the measurements inserted. If this option is selected the blinds will not be suitable for inside recess fit. Please make sure you have enough space to fit the blind.

Please make sure that when the blinds are fitted outside the window recess, if there is sufficient space, the blind should overlap with the walls on both sides for a more efficient blocking of the sun, especially in the case of blackout blinds.

Check for any obstructions in the fitting area i.e. window catches, electrical sockets, tiles, telephone sockets.

Always order as width x drop

Always use a steel tape measure

State all sizes to the nearest millimeter
